Harley-Davidson India  Anoop Prakash said: “We are now launching the Harley-Davidson Fat Boy Special, offering a special take on the motorcycle that embodies Harley-Davidson's rich heritage.”

To make it easier for its customers to buy its motorcycles, Harley Davidson has now tied up with HDFC Bank to offer a wide variety of financing options. The American firm already has a partnership with ICICI Bank. Mr Prakash added: “This arrangement will help more realize their dream of joining the Harley Davidson community.”

The Fat Boy was first introduced by Harley Davidson in 1990 and it became an instant hit. The Fat Boy cruise bike is even credited for rebuilding Harley-Davidson's sales after sales slumped during the 1980s. Harley-Davidson India commenced operations in August 2009, and appointed its first dealership in July 2010.
